International readers

To my great surprise I've received comments from international readers. I always welcome comments and will try to reply to any serious question asked. To answer the question from Mr. Park more formally in a separate article the short answer is no, I have no plans to launch an English version of my Blog and I see no reason to invest in the US or Canada. The Nordic stock markets offer much of the diversity I'm looking for in my investments. Sweden has many leading industrial companies in the world as well as corporations focused on the strong domestic demand for consumer goods and services. In Norway we have the oil and power sectors which can be attractive investments. There are also insurance companies both in Norway and Finland and they usually deliver solid results and dividends. I live in Sweden and these are the markets I know best. I can walk through the stores and see what people are buying, I read local media and am familiar with the corporations on our stock markets.

If you want to read more of me in English I have another blog here but that is not focused on investment in stocks, rather on odds trading on sporting events with Betfair. It's another nice little side income that hopefully will grow with time. Just like my stocks.
